On November 4, our Castifi’s CEO, Rumala Sheikhani, was recognized as one of the “top 100 Women of Worth” in Los Angeles for being an entrepreneur in the tech industry. The award and gala was hosted byWorthy Women, an organization focused on empowering entrepreneurial tech and creative women.

The inaugural awards ceremony honors 100 select Women Of Worth for leading and living in integrity. The evening began with a formal pink carpet reception followed by a served appetizers and drinks during the awards ceremony. The rest of the evening was spent networking with other award recipients, discussing what had led us to our paths and finding support amongst a strong network of women.
Worthy Women hosts monthly events in an effort to create a space for women to learn best practices needed for success. As well as to organize a supportive community of amazing women who dare to play by their own rules, forge their own path, and live their true self worth.
The founder of Worthy Women, Audrey Bellis, is a first generation Latina actively building the tech community in Los Angeles. She’s the founder ofStartUp DTLAand aGrid110cofounder. Mayor Garcetti’s office honored her as 1 of 5 “Inspiring Latina’s of LA” and was named by TechOutLA as “a key player in the Eastside/DTLA tech movement”. She has been published by The Huffington Post, BUNCH Magazine, Metro UK, GOOD Magazine, Morocco World News, and Times of Israel.
